Golden Bars

Golden Bars

The Royal Greenwich Observatory in Greenwich, London, is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian of the World, making it the official starting point for each new day and year. It also happens to be on a hill with a marvelous view looking over London. To the right of photograph is Canary Wharf and as you move across to the left you can see the Gherkin, Tower 42 and even the London eye. In the foreground is the National Maritime Museum. This image was taken on a cold March afternoon and was a light show I am glad I witnessed, I particularly like how the towers of Canary Wharf have been transformed into golden bars.
